As a national trade association representing brick distributors and manufacturers, they are looking for a Technical Engineer/Architect with a passion for masonry, architecture, design, data, and analysis. The ideal Structural or Architectural Engineer candidate for this role is someone from a forensic engineering/facade background with a degree in architecture, engineering, or a similar field. Our client prefers someone with less experience, who wants to learn and grow in this industry. The role will report to Courtney Fried and Chip Clark, and the company is willing to consider relocating the right candidate, but preference is given to someone local.
 

Qualifications for the Structural Engineer/Architectural Engineer position include:

-Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or Bachelor of Architecture
-2+ years of building industry experience (with masonry preferred)
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to read and interpret construction documents
-Knowledge of masonry building design, detailing, and construction preferred
-Proficiency in one or more software programs in the areas listed below preferred 
-Structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, RAM, STAAD),
-Energy analysis software (e.g., COMcheck, REScheck),
-Graphics software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, CorelDraw)

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary Range and Benefits: The pay range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000 and the benefits package includes health coverage for employees, PTO plus all federal holidays!
