We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to fill an immediate opening with a well-known, family owned outdoor and sporting goods company that has been in operations for almost 100 years! Our client is looking for individuals who are passionate, hard-working, and dedicated to their craft. The ideal Production Planner candidate will have a bachelor's degree or three to five years of related experience and/or training in a related industry. They should also possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a good understanding of market trends and conditions. The ability to read and interpret documents, apply mathematical concepts, and use measuring instruments is also essential. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods is a plus.


Qualifications for the Production Planner position include:

-Bachelor's degree or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related industry
-Good understanding of the industry market trends and conditions
-Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and barcode labels
-Ability to use and read measuring instruments
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
-Understanding of firearm functionality and components is a plus

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

The position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
