We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager!  Our client is a custom manufacturer for the world’s hardest working industries, and they are urgently seeking an experienced Operations Manager for their Gearing division. The ideal Operations Manager candidate for this position will have a background in a machine shop or industrial machinery company and extensive experience working on the shop floor. They should have at least one year of experience operating various metal working machine tools and related support equipment, and five years of supervisory experience as a first-line manager. A technical degree or equivalent work experience is also required. Strong knowledge of gear generating methods of manufacture, the ability to read and interpret blueprints including gear geometry, and good communication and mathematical skills are also essential.

Qualifications for the Operations Manage position include:

-Undergraduate technical degree or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience
-At least 1 year of experience operating various metal working machine tools and related support equipment (preferred)
-5 years of supervisory experience as a first-line manager (preferred)
-Sound knowledge of gear generating methods of manufacture
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints including gear geometry
-Good communication and mathematical skills
-Ability to perform occasional travel (around 10% of the time)

This opportunity comes with a salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 per year with a 15% bonus. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
