Q-SYS is seeking a Partner Developer Specialist (Cloud) to join our Alliances & Ecosystem Technical Operations Team. The Alliances & Ecosystem team owns all product and solution partner relationships, identifies how to engage with these partners and builds joint integrations. The Partner Developer Specialist (Cloud) will work with leading cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc), their service and tool offering & cloud-based solutions (ServiceNow, AppSpace, AI analytics, Splunk, Domotz, etc), and help build Proof of Concept and technical integrations with Q-SYS’ product team. This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Alliances and Ecosystem Technical Operations.

Base Pay Range 109,000 - 156,000

The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic loca tion. • ​Build Proof of Concept integrations with key partner products and offerings
• ​Producing efficient and elegant code based on Integration requirements
• ​Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software integrations
• ​Creation of a scope of work for internal or external development of Q-SYS Integrations
• ​Provide feedback from developers to our product and engineering teams to improve technology and usability
• ​Advocate with external and internal product and engineering teams for critical features that will provide better cloud integration between Q-SYS products and partner products​

Increase and reinforce Q-SYS Ecosystem engagement
 

• ​Demonstrate the value proposition to the technical community by creating and implementing outbound programs that attract new members and grow the Q-SYS ecosystem
• ​Interact and engage regularly with community members to provide developer enablement and mentoring.
• ​Deliver sample solutions, and discussions to community members to drive adoption and thus become external advocates for Q-SYS.
• ​Maintain an active presence in social media channels to establish thought leadership that’s relevant to developers and technical influencers.​

Alliance and Ecosystem Team support
 

• Support on-going Alliance and Ecosystem Team projects and market activities
• Create technical focused blog posts for Q-SYS partnership blog.
• Represent Q-SYS at tradeshows, partner events and summits

 

• BA/BS preferred, but not required
• IT and/or AV industry certification preferred, but not required
• ​​Minimum 5+ year’s experience in IT and network engineering
• ​Experience with leading Cloud solution providers, architecture and cloud-based solutions such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
• ​Experience with leading Cloud service monitoring, management, IT service and alerting solutions
• ​Familiarity with unified communications and commercial audio-visual technologies desired​
• Hands-on experience writing code in a modern programming language, such as Python, C#, Java, .NET, C++ and Lua.
• Experience writing technical scope of works for internal and external developers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting specific deadlines
• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment to ensure consensus and drive execution.
