Our client, a well-established manufacturing business that has been operating for over 50 years in the East Syracuse NY area, is seeking CNC Machine Operator for to fill several immediate openings! This firm offers manufacturing services for metal and plastic parts in prototype and low-volume production quantities, including casting, molding, and machining processes. They also offer assistance in selecting the best manufacturing process and modifying or redesigning parts for the selected process. Their services include CAD design, rapid prototyping, assembly, painting and finishing, and form-in-place gasketing. They work with a variety of materials, including aluminum, zinc, magnesium, polyurethanes, and most thermoplastics. Their processes are suitable for bridging prototypes to production, and they can quickly deliver large quantities to production specifications if necessary.

The ideal CNC Machinist candidate for this position must possess the required skills and experience for the job, including CNC milling machine operation, set up, and programming. We are seeking candidates with a high level of attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills. Additionally, candidates must be able to work well within a team and possess excellent communication skills.

Qualifications for the CNC Machinist position include:

-Strong experience in CNC milling machine operation, set up, and programming
-Ability to work with vertical and horizontal mills, 4 and 5 axis
-Possess a high level of attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills
-Good communication and teamwork skills

For this CNC Machinist position, pay is between $20.00 and $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. A 10% pay differential will be added to the 2nd shift.
