We have an immediate opening for a Commissioning Engineer to join a great team in Sommerville! Our client is a leading Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineering firm that has been providing HVAC, power, plumbing, and fire protection solutions for mission critical facilities since 1984. This urgent opening is for a Commissioning Engineer to join the sustainability consulting team. The ideal Commissioning Engineer candidate should have a basic knowledge of the commissioning process and intermediate knowledge of and experience with building related mechanical systems. They should be proficient in document handling and processing, and have excellent communication skills. The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with a team, while also being able to manage their tasks independently.

Qualifications for the Commissioning Engineer include:

-Minimum 2 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
-Experience in HVAC sales may also be applicable
-LEED AP certification and LEED commissioning experience is a plus
-Experience with BMS/BAS (Building Management System/Building Automation System) is a plus
-Highly proficient in Word and Excel
-Excellent general communication skills
-COVID vaccination required

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary Range and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience. Our client offers a competitive benefits package, including medical insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid leave and holidays.
