Our client is looking for an experienced Plant Manager with a background in manufacturing and ideally plant management in the food industry. The ideal Plant Manager candidate for this role will have at least 10 years of manufacturing experience, ideally with five years in management. The candidate should be used to having several reports, up to around 30, and have experience in the food industry. They should also have experience with Just In Time manufacturing processes, as everything produced is made to order. The ability to manage a changing, fast-paced environment with a work force ranging in skill level from temporary workers to highly skilled technicians is a must.

Qualifications for the Plant Manager position include:

-5+ years experience in a significant leadership role of more than 10 production personnel in an industrial, manufacturing environment.
-Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience, to include military experience.
-Understanding of financial reports, budgetary methods and forecasting.
-Ability and desire to provide top-notch leadership.
-Some travel required.
-Flexibility to maintain a Facility operating on a 24/7 schedule.
-High level math skills to create formulas and spreadsheets for budgets, cost control, and inventory.
-Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to complete detailed reports and make presentations.
-Proficient with computer systems and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail.

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

The salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000, with a 10-20% bonus. Our client is offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for this hire, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, 401k with matching, tuition assistance, and paid time off.

This client is also open to relocation for well qualified candidates, and will pay up to $15,000 in relocation costs.

This is a Monday-Friday position, but he Plant Manger can expect to be on-call, and will require work on some weekends.
