Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Bridge and Structures Office provides a full range of structural engineering services required to provide safe, economical, and reliable structures for Washington's transportation system, currently comprising nearly 3,100 existing vehicular bridges with approximately 18 new bridges being added annually. WSDOT Bridge and Structures Office is currently seeking to fill multiple Bridge Engineer 4 permanent positions in Tumwater, WA. These positions provide design and construction support for transportation structures of intermediate size and complexity. Persons filling this position are expected to coordinate with Region offices, WSDOT Bridge Design Specialists, and Bridge Office Detailers, therefore, exceptional communication skills are vital.
