Our client has an urgent need for an Assistant Plant Manager to join their team! The ideal candidate for the Assistant Plant Manager position should have at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing and production, with ideally 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role. They must be mechanically inclined with some maintenance experience. Our client is open to any industry, as long as the candidate has a proven track record of success and the ability to manage a team effectively. On-call work is required, which can include late-night phone calls and the occasional on-site visit on weekends.

Qualifications for the Assistant Plant Manager position:

-Bachelor's degree preferred (Associates degree or High School diploma with formal technical training considered in conjunction with extensive, relevant experience).
-HVAC Certification or equivalent background
-3+ years of Production Management experience
-Ability to explain basic mechanical theory to direct reports
-Experience coordinating vendors and establishing preventative maintenance programs
-Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
-Understanding of OSHA general standard as it relates to a manufacturing facility, Safety SOP’s, P/L management and Labor Cost Management
-Workforce Planning/ Scheduling experience
-Six Sigma Lean experience

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

The salary range for the Assistant Plant Manager position is $70,000-$90,000 per year, commensurate with relevant experience.
