A leading architectural design firm is seeking a Job Captain. With over 40 years of experience, they offer a diverse range of services including Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, and Sustainable Design to clients nationwide. Their medium-sized firm is growing and we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our team.
 

The ideal Job Captain s a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role in an architectural firm. They should possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and have a diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices. Additionally, advanced proficiency in various software applications and multimedia software such as Lumion, Excel, Word, InDesign, Microsoft Project, and Photoshop. Requirements & Responsibilities for this Job Captain opportunity include:
 

  • 8+ years of experience in architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • Diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices
  • Advanced techniques and modification/extension of theories and practices in the field
  • Organized with the ability to delegate assignments to support staff
  • Proficient in Lumion, Excel, Word, InDesign, Microsoft Project, Photoshop, and other applications and multimedia software
  • Ability to work well with others and a hunger for expanding knowledge (LEED/Sustainable Certification, licensure, etc.)
  • 5 hours of ADA Continuing Education annually
  • Knowledge of building code and applications
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, InDesign, Projects, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Responsible for finished plans, specifications, and material approval
  • Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning and design of complex projects
  • Establish productive relationships with team members, consultants, and government agencies
  • Coordinate projects and resolve conflicts and discrepancies
  • Mentor and meet regularly with support staff
