A growing electrical firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician / Project Manager to lead their projects and provide top-quality installations and repairs to clients. With a company car provided for work-related travel, you'll have the flexibility to work from home and head directly to your project site.
 

As a specialty contractor in the data services industry, providing the electrical and communication systems needs of U.S. corporations for over 30 years. They design, build, and manage data centers for their clients, offering services that include site selection, design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance. They are dedicated to quality and operate on a foundation of integrity and honesty, which has led to many long-lasting customer relationships and partnerships.
 

The ideal Journeyman Electrician / Project Manager should be a certified electrician, with a background in installing and repairing electrical equipment, familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment, strong problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors, employees, and temporary labor.
 

Requirements & Responsibilities for this Journeyman Electrician / Project Manager opportunity include:

• Must be a Certified Journeyman Electrician
• Previous experience working on UPS, generators, and live panel boards
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Ability to perform job walks
• Willing to travel in the surrounding areas
• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
• Install various types of raceways and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring systems
• Assist in job walks for estimates
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Manage subcontractors, employees, and temporary labor
• Run jobs and manage project schedules and budgets

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $83,000 -  $114,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
