As the primary Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in improving the asset and capacity reliability, while providing technical support to the maintenance function and managing Preventive and Predictive Maintenance processes. You will act as a subject matter expert and advisor to the production departments, providing proactive leadership, direction, and technical expertise.
 

The fast-paced sugar manufacturing company grows and processes sugarcane, citrus, and sweet corn for national brands. It is based in the United States and operates 245,000 acres of land. The firm is an important part of the local communities, providing employment to 2,500 people and supporting local causes.
 

Requirements & Responsibilities for this Reliability Engineer opportunity include:
 

• A Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited institution is required
• 10-20 years of related experience in heavy manufacturing (e.g. Sugar, Oil/Gas, Power Plant, Chemicals, Pulp/Paper, bulk food) is preferred
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) with hands-on approach preferred
• Act as site Subject Matter Expert for all reliability activities
• Perform Pareto analysis, RCA/RCFA, provide loss elimination plans and facilitate implementation
• Work closely with departments to improve equipment reliability
• Perform studies on equipment failures and present solutions to management
• Advise and train in the use of SAP PM Module (CMMS)
• Manage reliability data, implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ensure correct application of Predictive Maintenance technologies (e.g. oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography)
• Facilitate Equipment Criticality strategy formulation, conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
