A Houston-based full-service consulting civil engineering and surveying firm is seeking a talented CAD Designer / CAD Drafter to join their team. With a focus on setting the standard for client satisfaction, professional-grade quality, and total satisfaction for every service they provide. The staff of professional engineers, design engineers, and CAD operators work together to achieve results and maintain long-term relationships with our clients.
 

The ideal CAD Designer / CAD Drafter will have a minimum of 2 years experience in the drafting field, with a strong civil background, ideally in utilities. The candidate must be proficient in MicroStation, have a valid state driver's license, and have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
 

Requirements & Responsibilities for this CAD Designer / CAD Drafter opportunity include:
 

• 2+ years drafting experience
• Strong civil background with utility experience
• Knowledge of MicroStation (V8i) and/or AutoCAD, with examples
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Strong work ethic, team player, and willing to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to solve problems and use good judgment
• Ability to learn Company procedures and processes
• Creating utility plans under the project manager's supervision
• MicroStation proficiency required
• Utility relocation background with abandonment experience a plus
• Ability to multitask, attention to detail, and manage multiple projects

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
