A leading geotechnical engineering firm is seeking a full-time Geotechnical Engineer for immediate employment in Casper, Wyoming. The firm specializes in state-of-the-art exploration and engineering. The projects span roads and highways, dams and reservoirs, offices and warehouses, conventional and green energy, recreational facilities, and many other projects. The ideal candidate for the Geotechnical Engineer opportunity is a motivated individual with a bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably a master's degree in geotechnical engineering), and certifications in A.C.I. Level I concrete testing and Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) or Engineering Intern (E.I.), strong technical knowledge in soil mechanics and engineering principles, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. They should also have a solid understanding of the Unified Soil Classification System, the ability to perform field observations and testing activities, technical proficiency in computer programs and software, and a valid driver's license. This person should value teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning and be interested in outdoor recreational opportunities and a work-life balance in central Wyoming.
 

Requirements & Responsibilities for this Geotechnical Engineer opportunity include:
 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Master's degree in geotechnical engineering preferred
• ACI Level I & EIT/EI certifications
• Strong technical knowledge in soil mechanics and engineering
• Understanding of USCS
• Ability to perform field observations and testing
• Technical proficiency in computer programs
• Valid driver's license
• Prepare geotechnical design reports
• Perform tasks, tests, and computations for geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing
• Perform laboratory and field investigations
• Independently operate equipment and manage multiple assignments
• Promote a safe work environment
• Read and interpret design drawings and construction documents

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $70,000 -  $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
