A growing engineering company that specializes in water quality science and engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate should be experienced in Caltrans design, water quality, and GIS software. Must have a clean driving record, pass a drug screen, and bring a strong work ethic and team mentality.

Responsibilities:

• Civil engineering design using Microstation
• Drainage/BMP design
• Prepare conceptual and final design PS&E packages
• Perform hydrology and hydraulic calculations and modeling
• Work independently and meet project/task budgets and schedules
• Strong technical writing ability

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering
• 5 years of experience in civil engineering design
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Good driving record
• Caltrans design experience
• Familiarity with water quality requirements, NPDES permits, TMDLs, CGP
• Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or SWMM, OpenRoads
• Experience with GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS)

This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
