We are seeking a Structural Engineer specializing in designing and constructing steel structures for airplane hangars. The ideal Structural Engineer candidate would have previous experience in a similar field, and have hands-on experience with software such as SAP 2000 and AutoDesk Robot, and knowledge of portal frame construction or pre-engineered metal buildings design. A bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering is required, and a master's degree is a plus. Membership with the Institute of Structural Engineering is also preferred.
 

Requirements & Responsibilities for this Structural Engineer position include:

* Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering (Master's degree is a plus)
* Previous experience as a Structural Engineer in a similar field
* Hands-on experience with software such as SAP 2000, AutoDesk Robot, and other FEA software
* Knowledge of portal frame construction or pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) design
* Ability to design steel structures for airplane hangars using computer-aided design software
* Experience in measuring loads and pressures and choosing appropriate materials based on structural specifications
* Strong skills in preparing Structural Plans & Reports, modeling structures in steel detailing software, and reviewing fabrication drawings
* Membership with the Institute of Structural Engineering (preferred)

Compensation: Base salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
