Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 2 in the Olympia Project Engineer Office (PEO). The incumbent serves as the primary person responsible for the preparation of design documentation, plans, specifications, cost estimates and delivery of highway design projects. This position directs the technical work performed by supporting designers and technicians and oversees the quality of their work. The work of the Transportation Engineer 2 supports WSDOT’s mission to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective transportation options by ensuring that highway design projects comply with agency policies, procedures, and practices.
