Job Description:

This task is a critical segment of a detailed legacy system review to gain a more in-depth understanding of Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) performance and integration processes. The successful candidate must have experience in systems integration of radar systems in rotary wing aircraft. In addition, the candidate must: 1) Provide technical expertise and guidance in solving complex RWR hardware/software integration efforts; 2) Perform all phases of hardware/software development, integration, implementation, and analysis; 3) Participate in hardware/software evaluations; and 4) Represent the DMAero Engineering Team during interface with government and civilian customers.
All positions start in Warner Robins, Georgia with the opportunity, if employee wishes, to relocate to Huntsville, Alabama or Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will have experience with helicopter Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) system performance and functionality.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in solving complex hardware/software integration problems in rotary wing aircraft
  • Analyze data to effectively coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of the existing RWR systems
  • Evaluate existing components and systems to determine integration requirements and processes
  • Perform detailed analysis of hardware/software systems in rotary wing aircraft
  • Define integration requirements to replace legacy systems
  • Perform studies and generate reports as to system and hardware/software integration procedures, processes, and implementation
  • Use define ict (ICT) tools to integrate and implement hardware/software solutions
  • Implement ICT system best practices to ensure requirements for integration are met
  • Define integration strategies and methods
  • Provide planning to ensure schedules are met
  • Create technical presentation documentation that details integration to non-technical individuals
  • Perform all phases of hardware/software development, integration/implementation, and analysis
  • Participate in hardware/software reviews and evaluations
  • Define interface requirements between system components, e.g. I/O, bandwidth, latency, time synchronization, etc.
  • Confirm capabilities by designing test methods, test plans, and test procedures
  • Prepare engineering reports analyzing RWR system data
  • Apply mathematics and statistics to problem-solving initiatives
  • Contribute to team effort
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with clients and business partners
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Hands-on programming experience in rotary aircraft radar systems.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR mathematics with software experience.
Two (2) years of direct experience in radar systems SOFTWARE engineering.
Candidate must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
