Rail Operations and Safety Analyst (New York, NY): Review rail systems engineering design for contract compliance and safety compliance. Develop approach for constructing and safely expediting the work in accordance with any constraints on the railroad, including regulatory framework, railroad safety requirements, maintaining existing operations, and railroad labor constraints. Develop and coordinate workplans to meet railroad and stakeholder requirements for implementation over the life of the project. Make adjustments or optimizations to account for emergent opportunities or challenges due to changes in project progress rates, requirements of other adjacent projects, or other railroad requirements. Perform rail operation and track outage analysis and track engineering design reviews. Perform Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) and civil site plan development, construction phase support, and geospatial technology application support.  Work with track design compliance; rail operations management; commissioning of rail signaling and traction power systems; train scheduling and timetabling elements; and developing strategies, analyses, and associated documents for railroad expansion work. Req’s Bachelor’s degr plus 4 yrs exp. Salary Range: $106,766 to $113,000/year.
