Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Public Transportation Division is currently seeking a skilled Emergency Services Manager in Tumwater, WA. This position is responsible for assisting with projects, managing projects, and coordinating the Aviation Division participation in aviation emergency services planning and training exercises. The incumbent will also be responsible for assisting with airport visits and providing technical assistance to airport sponsors in airport capital investment plans and Master Record 5010 inspections. This top candidate will be the primary interface with the rest of agency for the use of aviation assets in response to an emergency. This position requires interaction within the Aviation Division; within the WSDOT agency's offices, divisions, and regions; with other federal, state, county, city, and tribal governments; and with stakeholders from several interest groups including pilots, airports, and various aviation and aviation-related industries.
