Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Design/Construction Engineer (Transportation Engineer 2) to support WSDOT’s mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and built in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. The work of this position improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the State’s transportation system. As a Transportation Engineer 2 in the Project Engineer Office (PEO), the incumbent is placed in the position as a designer, surveyor and inspector of highway construction projects.
