 High Tech Genesis is looking for a Forecasting Manager who will manage our global logistics processes and provide leadership and development.
 
Roles and responsibilities:

1. Develops, maintains, and enhances systems, methods, and procedures to identify and improve operating efficiency, cost and inventory reductions while maintain and improving on-time-delivery to our customers.
2. Develops demand plans for our suppliers. 
3. Analyzes sources of demand to ensure sufficient supply is available.
4. Interfaces with Sales at all levels when challenging and investigating validity of demand profiles and reviews and defends content.
5. Manages global logistics capabilities for all shipments from suppliers globally to MN distribution and order fulfillment facilities around the world.
6. Negotiates and manages costs associated with global logistics carriers
7. Responsible for developing methods and practices associated with the introduction of new products.

 
Required skills and experience:

• 3-5 years with Forecasting Management experience
• MS Office
• SAP or similar ERP system
• Familiar with Kinaxis or other planning-based system
• Able to provide clear, concise presentations, and produce accurate documentation and reports

 
Desired skills:

• Experience with DVR’s, IP video or other CCTV related solutions

• Experience working in Hi-Tech
