Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking multiple Transportation Engineer 2s (TE2) for the Olympic Region Traffic Design Office. These positions support WSDOT’s mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and constructed in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. The work of the TE2 improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the State’s transportation system. As a Transportation Engineer 2 in the Olympic Region Traffic Design Office, the incumbent designs signing, illumination, work zone traffic control, traffic signals and intelligent transportation systems.
