Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 in the Olympic Region Multimodal Planning unit. Reporting to the Senior Planner – Team Lead, the Transportation Engineer 3 will lead technical analysis in areas of traffic operations analysis, travel demand modeling (TDM), planning level cost estimating, and conceptual engineering. The incumbent contributes to regional planning and project delivery efforts; oversees and completes corridor studies; participates on statewide plan and policy reviews; coordinates with regional planning organizations, local jurisdictions, and tribal nations; and maintains good working relationships with internal and external customers.
