About You

  • Are 18 years or older and are authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Hold a current Electrical License and a minimum of [2 years] work experience in a Paper, FMCG or related manufacturing field.
  • Can read and write basic English
  • Have experience with LEAN methodologies and conventional plant operations

 

 

  • Are able to work flexible hours outside of normal day hours to cover a business need (i.e. to cover shortfalls within the team due to resourcing issues, to support a 24hr Call In Rota, etc.)
  • Can demonstrable your Electrical experience in an ever-changing technical environment including networks and site infrastructure.
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening

 

Position Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Compliance to electrical work practices and model safe behavior at all times.

  • Actively participates in Hazard Identification and in safety improvement activities.

  • Understanding and application of NFPA70E guidelines for PPE and boundaries

  • Support of all electrical plant equipment, systems, and controls, including technical inspections, PM’s, and completion of quality corrective actions/repairs to regain original equipment condition.  Also includes application of proactive technologies.

  • Demonstration of expertise in and support of machine control software (AB ControlLogix) and PID control loops, industrial control networks (ControlNet, EthernetIP, Profibus).

  • Demonstration of expertise in and support of servo drives/controls, and VFD’s

  • Timely response to electrical troubleshooting demands and managing decisions regarding electrical delay events

  • Support of equipment checkout and field verification

  • Maintain up to date equipment knowledge through OJT and other training opportunities

  • Mentoring of METPs through job shadowing and OJT

  • Working knowledge of electromechanical hydraulic and pneumatics.

  • Read and properly interpret industrial electrical prints, drawings, and instruction manuals.  Documentation of troubleshooting events in team log.

  • Apply working knowledge of basic shop equipment.

  • Utilization of SAP in support of the maintenance functions and the ability to keep detailed accurate records.

  • Support the planning and execution of daily/weekly/and shutdown activities.

  • Participate in cost effective decision making (for example/ labor, parts, and materials).

  • Demonstrates collaboration by continually demonstrating adult behavior and actively participating in team activities to provide the highest level of service and equipment to the Paris plant.

  • Demonstrates flexibility to work overtime, shift assignment, and travel as needed.
