We have an immediate need for a Project Estimator with experience in paving using asphalt and millings to join a well-established roadwork firm in East Moriches, NY. Requirements / Responsibilities for this Project Estimator opportunity includes:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- 5-10+ years of experience in highway/road projects, paving, asphalt, milling, and ripping up and replacing roads
- Familiarity with capital-funded state and local municipal projects
- Estimating tonnage based on town requirements
- Experience with bid management using Excel, Heavy Jobs, or other software
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
