Senior Civil Engineer (Boston, MA): Perform technical review of design-related submissions produced by the Design Build (DB) Entity. Perform technical review of all horizontal elements, including track, viaducts, bridges, drainage, retaining and noise walls, and community path. Work with other disciplines, including structures, drainage, geotechnics, lighting, fire, and life safety in the technical review of DB Entity design and construction submissions. Work with the Department of Transportation on the technical coordination of road bridges. Liaise with the transportation authority Project Controls Teams on potential change orders and commercial assessment of changes to the project scope. Review compliance and project requirements with the client, including design standards and codes. Work with the DB Entity at weekly Technical Working Group meetings. Provide monthly progress reports. Prepare technical presentations to the clients on complex design issues and identify technical solutions. Lead design teams on Design Build projects. Carry out design activities in highway engineering, which includes feasibility studies, preliminary designs, detailed designs, and construction support. Carry out design activities in bridge engineering, which includes structural design of bridge elements, load transfer analysis, preparation of force diagrams, concrete design, steel reinforcement, and bridge repairs. Carry out design activities in rail engineering, which includes electrified rail networks, in route alignment design, and civil engineering impacts of rail corridor design. Design and deliver large infrastructure projects within civil engineering disciplines, including highways, bridges, and rail.  Req’s Bachelor’s degr plus 8 yrs of exp.
