Keystone Engineering & Consulting is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join the Daytona Beach service area team.

Duties of the position will include, but are not limited to:

- Participate in projects involving investigative field work, engineering analysis, report preparation, and project communications.
- Perform investigations of a wide variety of site, building, and construction defects.
- Complete a variety of field work involving lifting, climbing ladders, and accessing roofs and balconies.
- Lead and provide support for inspection, analysis and report phase efforts on projects involving a variety of coastal engineering solutions.
- Support and participate in meetings and presentations with various clients including association members, attorneys, insurance adjusters, contractors, and other project team members.
- Perform site inspections to evaluate the structure and write a report of the observations and findings with an incorporated budget for discussion.
- Conduct pre-pour, in-progress, and punch list inspections.
- Provide hands-on customer relations with contractors and building owners.

Position Requirements:

- Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a structural engineering program from an accredited University.
- A degree in Engineering (structural or civil) is preferred, and/or the EI or PE certification.
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines.
- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be comfortable with standing and working from high elevations (scaffolding, swing staging, lifts, ladders).
- Familiarity with Civil/Structural Design Programs is a plus.
- Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Experience in structural concrete restoration, high rise/coastal buildings, paint/coatings/waterproofing, roofing and/or window/door installations is a plus.
- Must be able to provide design, inspections, report writing, proposals, customer relations, and engineering project management services.
- Some short-term travel may be required.


The position is 50/50 field/office with primary coverage of the Daytona Beach market, from New Smyrna Beach to St. Augustine.
