Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Construction Engineer (Transportation Engineer 2) for the Olympic Region Materials/General Engineering Consultant (GEC) Administration Office to ensure the improvement and preservation projects administered by GEC staff are done so in accordance with WSDOT specifications, rules, practices, and policies. The work of this position improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the State’s transportation system. This position assists the Field Engineer in the administration of construction projects. The Construction Engineer will support the development of Olympic Region’s GEC task orders for construction administration and provide oversight to the GEC Field Engineering staff to ensure WSDOT processes, specifications, and local and federal regulations are met.
