Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking multiple Transportation Engineers 3 to join the Headquarters Consultant Services Office (CSO) in Tumwater, WA. The incumbent is responsible for performing essential functions of the day-to-day operations of the Headquarters CSO. Additionally, this position performs journey-level professional consultant contract administration, acquisition, and execution associated with statewide project development. The Transportation Engineer will facilitate and maintain statewide consultant contracting procedures in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Assignments involve independent responsibility for organizing, coordinating, and performing technical reviews of engineering-related elements for consultant agreements. This position provides guidance to Headquarters and Region Consultant Liaison Engineers regarding complex and unique contracting issues throughout Washington State.
