RdF Corporation seeks a Junior Product & Manufacturing Engineer to assist in the manufacturing of RdF's products. Successful candidates should have a keen interest in the design and manufacture of precision components for use in critical environments, and must be able to work as part of a close-knit engineering and production team.

Applicants must have an engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and be a US Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident) to meet ITAR requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Assists in the transition of product from design to manufacturing production.
  • Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposals or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality.
  • Working with Manufacturing Management, observes and records workers operating their equipment or performing their tasks to determine time and techniques involved.
  • Drafting and editing of CAD drawings, processes & procedures.
  • Assist in the training of employees.
  • Analyzes problems in the manufacturing processes and proposes solutions.
  • Obtains process and quality assurance certifications to make and perform inspections of parts.
  • Evaluates and tests prototype units per engineering instructions.
  • Fabricates and assembles devices on prototype and/or small lot orders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field, and possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines, follow-through on commitments, and take corrective action if appropriate.
 

This position is full-time, and offers a desirable 9/80 work schedule - RdF is closed alternating Fridays. 
 

Candidates must be; available to work M-F, at least 18 years old, able to pass a drug test including for marijuana use, and authorized to work in the U.S.

 

Proficiency in Solidworks and MS Office software is required. Candidates must be comfortable with the latest computer technologies
