Formal Policy Setting Responsibilities Formally responsible for providing input into policies and making recommendations regarding policies associated with the job's purpose and essential responsibilities. Routine Decision Making/Problem Solving: Decisions based on the day-to-day running of the Warranty Department. Decisions based on resolution of specific warranty claims. Analyze FIRs, FCOs, CARs and warranty claims for root cause and develop ways to prevent their recurrence. Essential Responsibilities: * Coordinate warranty claims * Resolve FIR, FCO and CARs issued from all departments * Manage the Warranty Department by transferring knowledge and developing direct reports. Ensure appropriate experiences for full job understanding by trainee(s). Qualifications: To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required Skills or Abilities: Ability to work with multiple disciplines in order to determine the root cause of FIRs, FCOs, CARs and warranty claims. Skilled at implementing change in order to prevent recurrence of problems. Solid verbal and written communication skills required. Formal Education: Four-year college education.
