We have an immediate need for a CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist with experience operating a Lathe or Swiss Machine to join a well-established, fast-paced, high-volume Manufacturing firm in Round Pond, ME. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, finding solutions, and adhering to production schedules. Additionally, you will be in charge of running one or more machines while performing routine product inspections.
Requirements / Responsibilities for this CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist opportunity includes:
- High School Diploma
- Layout and develop programs for effective machining
- Design and determine tooling needed for projects
- Troubleshoot and find solutions while adhering to production schedules
- Setting up machines to perform various machine functions such as cutting, boring, or broaching metal parts
- Calculating and setting machine controls to position the spindle in relationship to the part and regulating factors
Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!
Shifts:
- Monday through Thursday: 6:40 am-4:00 pm and Friday: 6:30 am-12:00 pm
- Monday through Thursday: 4:00 pm-2:30 am
- Friday through Sunday: Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours!
