Job Description:

Are you interested in working for UDRI, a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry, and nonprofit customers? The ideal candidate will provide financial management, deliverable tracking, timing, and technical support for multiple high-volume programs. This position will serve as a support role for senior project managers and engineers which will require an understanding of project management principles and processes. Key functions in the position include: running reports, updating spending on projects, reviewing invoices, managing deliverables, etc. Loving Excel is a bonus! Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years experience in project management-related activities (program control, budget analyses, or resource management).
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret financial/cost data.
• Knowledge of the various Government contract types.
• Effective verbal communication with clients at all levels.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years experience in project management or program support focused on financial management.
• Demonstrated familiarity with contract awards and modifications.
• Demonstrated experience working with customers at various levels.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining database records.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage various project activities ensuring accurate task completion.
• Knowledgeable on the Deltek Costpoint system.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
