Job Summary:
Due to an expanding workload, Salas O’Brien is looking to recruit a Senior Healthcare Engineer (Mechanical) to cover both our Southern California and Arizona regions.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- You possess Professional Engineer (PE) license
- You have a LEED certification/experience
- 8+ years’ experience working as a mechanical engineer across a range of healthcare projects, including Acute Care facilities, and will be well versed in the technical requirements of healthcare design and HCAI.
- You have knowledge of the design of HVAC systems
- You have knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
Skills/abilities:
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Background in Healthcare design
- Interested in taking the next step up in their career to build, lead and manage a mechanical healthcare team.
- Good business development skills to expand existing and grow new client relationships.
- Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
- Ability to lead a team and work as a team
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office
- Ability to travel
