Job Summary:
Due to an expanding workload, Salas O’Brien is looking to recruit a Senior Healthcare Engineer (Mechanical) to cover both our Southern California and Arizona regions. 
 
You will be a great fit if you have:
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering  
  • You possess Professional Engineer (PE) license  
  • You have a LEED certification/experience
  • 8+ years’ experience working as a mechanical engineer across a range of healthcare projects, including Acute Care facilities, and will be well versed in the technical requirements of healthcare design and HCAI.
  • You have knowledge of the design of HVAC systems 
  • You have knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines 
Skills/abilities:
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude 
  • Background in Healthcare design
  •  Interested in taking the next step up in their career to build, lead and manage a mechanical healthcare team.
  • Good business development skills to expand existing and grow new client relationships.
  • Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work 
  • Ability to lead a team and work as a team 
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office 
  • Ability to travel
