In this role, you will build your contacts within the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) and outside agencies by coordinating projects with other Divisions, Districts, consultants, Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), utility companies, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). You will have the opportunity to design device deployments and innovate and maintain our fleet of equipment used to gather and broadcast road status information to stakeholders and the traveling public.

If unable to fill at the Professional Engineer I level, will consider applicants at the Engineer level which requires a bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline. This position requires passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam within one year of employment.

Applicants with a bachelor's degree in engineering will be hired at the Engineer level - $26.067.

Licensed Professional Engineer applicants will be hired at the Professional Engineer I level - $29. 716.
