In the role of Civil Engineer, we'll count on you to:

• Provide engineering support.
• Assists in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods and reports.
• Applies knowledge and techniques to the solution of basic analytical problems.
• Follows established/standard policies and procedures on details of work and makes preliminary selections and adaptations of alternatives.
• Performing a variety of tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the staff, methods and practices.
• Assist and manage in civil engineering projects in Alabama and/or the Southeast United States

• Perform pre-design, programming, and feasibility studies.

• Review and extract relevant information from topographic surveys and maps, as-built drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data.

• Prepare engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules.

• Comply with relevant federal, state, and local codes and standards.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties, as needed.
