Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Traffic Signing Specialist (Transportation Technical Engineer) in Olympia, WA. This position serves as an expert and resource on traffic control signs, and provides technical support to the Regions regarding the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), state signing policies and signing issues. You will also direct the Motorist Information Sign (MIS) program. Your work will have a direct impact in enhancing the travel experience for all modes of transportation within the vast infrastructure network of Washington State.
