Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a structural engineer to join the Investigative Engineering Group in our Lakewood, Colorado office. This engineer will work with multiple project managers on a broad range of investigative project types.
This position will focus in the general structural investigative engineering market developing or leveraging specialized skills in structural evaluation, assessment, and repair. The position offers opportunities to gain experience working with historic structures, forensic analysis, seismic retrofit, structural deterioration and failures, and structural repairs.
A typical work week can include field investigations, non-destructive testing, structural analysis, development of reports and repair documents, and construction administration services. Projects are typically located in the Rocky Mountain Region but can sometimes take us nationally, offering the opportunity to travel. The position allows for interactions with property/facility managers, building owners, and contractors along with opportunities for marketing activities.

Company benefits are plentiful and include compensation for hours above a standard 40-hour work week for positions up through Project Engineer. The office is located on the west side of Denver allowing for quick access to both the city and the mountains. Our staff typically spends less time in traffic and more time with family and friends.
 
Duties and Responsibilities Include:

•              Coordinates our work in-house and with other project team firms.
•              Develops, monitors, and manages work plans, schedules, and design budgets on their projects.
•              Manages engineering and Revit staff to complete projects assigned to them.
•              Serves as the primary point-of-contact with Clients and Contractors.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
•              Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering
•              Registered PE in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain a license within 3 months
•              Minimum five years of progressive structural design experience.
•              Ability to meet quality and financial goals.

Desired Qualifications:
•              Master's degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering
•              Passed the 16-hour SE examination
•              Has successfully managed multiple projects and followed them through from start of design to completion of construction.
•              Participating member of professional and/or technical society.
