Responsibilities
 
  • Collaborate with the Industrial Sales team to develop a comprehensive account strategy to drive specification of products and services with existing and targeted accounts. 
  • Develop a Sales Strategy for assigned accounts that build lasting customer relationships focusing on growth and increasing scope of business.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision makers within targeted accounts and engage appropriately. 
  • Interact and engage with executive management, senior engineering, and technical personnel, as well as procurement and operations personnel.
  • Communicate with other team members and channel partners, including Distributors and System Integrators as needed to support key customers.
  • Prepare monthly and annual forecasts for assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate specifications, pricing and supplier contracts on behalf of the company.
  • Utilize all company resources including Technical Support, Product Management and Executive Management to support sales growth.
  • Provide input to Product Management for any necessary product modifications or potential new product features and development
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred and a Technical or Engineering is ideal but a High School Diploma and industry experience is key.
  • 5+ years of Industrial / Technical sales experience.
  • Experience with Hydraulic / Fluid Power products, equipment and/or services is required.
  • Proficiency to understand, discuss and troubleshoot hydraulic circuits and systems.
  • Experience calling on Industrial clients…Forging, Extrusion, Infrastructure, Automotive, Aerospace, Agriculture, Marine, Mining, and of Machinery / Equipment.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Skilled in creation and presentation of compelling value propositions.
