Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has a great opportunity for a motivated Transportation Engineer 3 who has strong leadership skills and an exceptional aptitude for managing projects.
 
The Project Engineering Office located in Bellingham, WA is looking for a Team Leader who will perform supervisory level civil engineering for tasks in support of the Project Engineer's assigned projects and tasks. This includes the design of projects that preserve and improve State highways, as well as preparing contracts for bidding purposes.  The Project Engineering Office is also responsible for the administration of the highway improvement and preservations projects.  This includes providing quality control, inspection, documentation, and authorizing payment for contract work completed in accordance with the specifications.
