Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an Environmental Team Lead to supervise the Documentation and Permit team within the Region Environmental and Hydraulic Services Office (EHS) in the Olympic region and serve as the lead Region Environmental Coordinator. They will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the work activities of the team to accomplish project scoping, environmental documentation, acquisition of environmental permits and environmental compliance. This position supports the vision, mission, and values of WSDOT by ensuring that major transportation investments comply with National and State Environmental Policy Act requirements. Compliance is accomplished by preparing, managing, and reviewing environmental review documents, permits and approvals.
