Job Description:

Cellula is looking to add a certified professional Electrical Engineer (P.Eng) to our AUV division to provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of electrical engineering pertinent to subsea robotics.

Cellula is an innovative engineering company that specializes in automated and tele-robotics systems; primarily for the offshore and subsea market space. Our solutions are designed, built and tested in-house by a skilled team of engineers, technicians and support staff. We take pride in what we do and work hard to bring the best value to our clients. We want to learn from the field so we can continually improve how we deliver solutions. To that end, we encourage the same team members who helped design and build our systems to assist the client in the field with installation, operational trials and service.

As a professional Electrical Engineer (P.Eng), you will be responsible for creating, reviewing & approving electrical designs & drawings for a variety of projects covering seafloor drills, hovering & cruising Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and other bespoke systems. You will also be expected to provide advice & guidance to other team members on the unique challenges of electrical engineering in the subsea domain, this includes, but is not limited to: power distribution (high & low voltage, AC and DC), noise, grounding, and heat dissipation. You will be expected to participate in project teams and be the “go to” expert in certain areas, while deferring to others for topics outside your expertise.

As a company, we offer team members a chance to grow professionally with ever-changing projects. Our office is a casual, collaborative environment where you will be able to learn about our state-of-the-art systems from technical experts. In addition, we offer flexible work hours, benefits and competitive compensation.
