Are you interested in working for UDRI, a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry and nonprofit customers? UDRI invites qualified candidates to apply for our Associate Project Analyst opening within the Applied Sensing Division!

The project analyst will oversee a variety of AFRL awards from set up through close out phases in a fast-paced lab environment. The analyst is responsible for reviewing current contracts and properly submitting all deliverables. The project analyst will oversee the establishment of rates and labor categories, and review invoices. Financial reports, analyses, projections, and resource allocation reports will be prepared and maintained by the project analyst. The analyst will gather inputs, proofread, and coordinate status report deliveries in Word by interfacing with engineering technical leads. The technical leads will assist the analyst with the creation of task milestone charts, which may require frequent updates due to schedule and scope variation. The project analyst will foster an atmosphere of outstanding customer service through direct, consistent customer interaction via one-on-one and or group meetings as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven excellent written communication skills, including accuracy and sensitivity to audience
- Ability to collaborate with others to create reports
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
- Proven ability to create financial reports in Excel
- Proven ability to read and understand contract requirements
- Proven ability to read and understand financial reports
- Outstanding customer service
- Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be a US citizen and eligible to obtain security

Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical area
- Three years of work experience in program management or related field
- Experience working with Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) contracts
- Familiarity with basic technical concepts of software development and computer systems
- Familiarity with Costpoint ERP System
- Experience working in a remote environment
