Salesforce Inc. seeks Signature Support Engineer in Hillsboro, OR:

Job Duties: Serve as a Trusted Advisor, and drive conversations with our customer's Business Stakeholders armed with best practices for enterprise architecture functions such as Security, Performance, Development Process, Release Management, and Application Governance. Solve highly visible, technical, global and strategic enterprise cases and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction with exposure to all skill groups/areas of the product/platform for the most critical issues. Provide proactive support, including but not limited to: proactive system/limit monitoring and communications, deep Splunk analysis, creating definitions for proactive alerts, working with Customer Centric Engineering and Technical Enablement teams on proactive tuning, and providing recommendations to minimize potential service disruptions. Advocate Signature Support customer’s priorities internally within Salesforce. Liaise and work closely with the Salesforce R&D and Infrastructure teams on escalated technical issues and product roadmap changes/new features, as well as work with R&D on pilot programs. Lead the resolution of critical technical issues, providing prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business issues. Assist developers in troubleshooting their integration with salesforce.com APIs, Apex, Visualforce, and implementation of other salesforce.com developer products. Debug, troubleshoot, and take responsibility to see that technical issues are fully resolved. Review, improve, and approve technical work, and guide, mentor, and teach others. Create knowledge base materials dedicated towards operational efficiency while also empowering and enabling the greater support community. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Systems Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Systems Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java (1 year); (2) C# (1 year); (3) JavaScript (1 year); (4) HTML (1 year); (5) CSS (1 year); (6) Python (1 year); (7) REST (1 year); and (8) SOAP (1 year). Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
