BalanStar Corporation, a growing balancing machine manufacturer located in Elk Grove Village, is seeking an experienced electrical / software engineer. We require a skilled and motivated individual who will report directly to our VP of Manufacturing in our electrical controls department. We manufacture computer electronic controls for our line of manual balancing machines as well as automated systems. The primary job functions will be as follows:

• Design of electrical control schematics
• Software modification and programming using C/C++
• Servo & PLC programming (Yaskawa, RSLogix 5000)
• Electronic part sourcing
• Panel wiring diagrams
• Additional duties will include the design of electrical and computer control systems.

Qualifications and required skills:
 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or a minimum of four years related experience and/or training. 

• Basic understanding of 3 phase power systems and electronic theory
• AutoCAD required.
• National Instrument CVI or Labview knowledge 
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Knowledge of basic electrical wiring a must
• Good written and oral communication skills required
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Team player, flexible, self-motivated, get along well with co-workers
