Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill a Transportation Engineer 2 vacancy located in Tumwater, WA. This position will serve as an Assistant Qualified Products List & Aggregate Source Approval (AQPL/ASA) Engineer. In this role, you will assist the QPL/ASA Engineer who represents WSDOT and is a liaison between the manufacturer's representatives of construction materials and WSDOT Subject Matter Experts (SME). This position will correspond and work with WSDOT SME in determining appropriate approval and acceptance criteria for construction material for adherence to the WSDOT and FHWA Stewardship agreement. This position also assists in the support of the WSDOT HQ Materials Quality Assurance Program as the contact for the QPL and the ASA Programs.
