Location: Kennedy Space Center, FL

Principle responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
 
• Responsible for the provision of all services mentioned above.
• Schedules work activities, monitors schedules, and measures work progress.
• Implements processes and procedures to improve or maintain the quality of these services.
• Coordinate access to Facilities Maintenance Requests
• Monitor FMRs and complete as necessary
• Troubleshoots printer/plotter issues
• Keeps current regarding developments in technology, equipment, software applications, programs, and processes in applicable services area
• Prepares or provides input to daily work planning.
• Plans and facilitates moves.
• Performs special assignments as requested.
• May assist in the selection of staff and suppliers.
• May assist or be responsible for coordinating and maintaining service-related contracts.
• May assist with the implementation of programs related to Safety and Health within the department.
• Hangs building signage
• Tracks supply inventory and orders supplies
• Plans, directs, coordinates and performs office services functions.
• Establishes schedules, sets standards and monitors work progress.
• Contributes to and/or evaluates work process improvements.
• Follows written desk guidelines and instructs others in applicable work processes.
• Maintains a filing system for record copies of facility and office services documents.
• Formulates, recommends, and implements objectives, policies, plans, systems, and procedures to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• May assist in development or selection of new technologies.
• Tracks and provides reports regarding seating assignments.
• May be responsible for coordinating and maintaining physical security.
• Responsible for coordinating and maintaining service-related contracts.
• Assists with services at project or other locations.
• Keeps current regarding developments in technology, equipment, software applications, programs, and processes in applicable service areas.
• Responsible for the implementation of programs related to Safety and Health.
• Uses knowledge of and develops guidance to effect sustainability.
• Responsible for video teleconferencing set up and the coordination of testing with other offices.
• Coordinates with IS&T for personnel moves and other service requirements.
• Provides backup service to O&AS Manager as required.
 
Basic Qualifications
• Right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field with six years of progressive professional experience; or 12 years of years of progressive professional experience in lieu of a degree.

• Ability to work effectively with others, both individually and as part of a team.
• Experience in budgeting and preparation of work plans.
• Understanding of automation systems used in areas of responsibility.
• Knowledge of applicable industry and regulatory standards, and of technology, including hardware and software applications applicable to office services.
• Demonstrated ability in organizing and maintaining department filing systems and share drives.
• Demonstrated ability in use of document management system.
• Experience in facility and office services activities.
• Experience in facility physical security processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and requirements.
• Demonstration of Bechtel’s Zero Accident philosophy through personal safe behavior/work practices.
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
• Demonstrated experience in supervision and management. Ability to direct others in areas of responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Bechtel’s processes and procedures related to office services.
• Experience in procurement activities related to procuring and receiving of goods and services.
• Contract administration experience.
