MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR-1ST SHIFT
 
We are Looking for a leader who is passionate about the direct impact they have to their maintenance team.
Engaged, Patient & enjoys being an active Hands On Supervisor.
This is not a sit in the office role! 
Your experience will increase team & equipment productivity, minimize DT & boost bottom line results.
 
The Maintenance Supervisor leads and coordinates three shifts of daily maintenance and repairs to ensure the efficient manufacture of food products consistent with safety, quality, quantity, and cost requirements.
The Maintenance Supervisors assigns daily work to technicians and enforces company policies and procedures.
Recommends improvements in maintenance methods, equipment, procedures and working conditions.
Plans and prepares predictive and preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment.
 
Job Responsibilities:
 Schedule and oversee all maintenance related work by directing Maintenance Leads, Mechanics
and technicians in all aspects of preventative maintenance and repairs. Communicate, train and enforce
company philosophy, policies and expectations in a clear and precise manner.
 Responsible for developing, maintaining and managing the maintenance parts and labor budgets.
 Develop and implement a proactive maintenance program including effective and timely predictive and
preventative maintenance procedures
 Act as the primary information source for the maintenance department including scheduling and
planning all vendor and technician visits and equipment installations.
 Creating, communicating, and maintaining quality Standard Operating Procedures for the proper
maintaining of equipment.
 Proactively identify and lead process and packaging equipment improvement initiatives.
 Develop a strong Maintenance team through coaching, teamwork and annual reviews, take corrective
actions where needed.
 Create a positive working environment for all team members, which supports continuous improvement,
reinforces company philosophy and policies and treats every individual equally and with respect.
 Comply and enforce all OSHA, GMP’s, food safety and housekeeping standards.
 
 

Requirements



At least 3-5 years’ experience working in a high-speed automated food or related production facility
preferably in a union environment.
