PLC PROGRAMMER FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE

• POSITION: Full Time / Direct Hire
• LOCATION: Door County
• COMPENSATION: Up to $32/HR + Travel Pay
• SCHEDULE: Hybrid (Work remote 2-3 days/week!)

An amazingly innovative manufacturing company is seeking a PLC Programmer. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for programming and trouble-shooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) for all proprietary systems. The PLC Programmer will also create custom ladder –logic, custom screens, and custom script functions to control proprietary equipment and any other custom industrial controls that have been designed and incorporated into our systems. Also responsible for researching and developing new technologies as they apply to the control and monitoring of these systems as well as following each application through to its conclusion including all aspects of equipment programming, writing technical manuals, traveling to customer sites to install and debug, and train personnel on site.

o RS Logic 5000
PLC programming may include but is not limited to the following:
o Allen Bradley, PLC5, SLC, CONTROLOGIX
o Automation Direct
o Modicon and Schneider Electric PLC
o Siemens
o Telemecanique
HMI or operator interface programming may include but is not limited to these devices:
o Proface and Proface EL
o Allen Bradley Panelview, Panelview Enhanced, and Panelview Plus
o Siemens Simatic operator interfaces

• Paperless chart recorder configuration and networking for Yokogawa DAQ Stations
• Other : Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Visual Basic

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years previous experience required
• Ability to travel as position requires with additional pay
• Strong understanding of PLC, computer, and networking architecture
• Working knowledge of relational databases
• Familiarity with Digital, Analog, and PID controls
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Familiarity with proper wiring, safety, and control standards
• Capability to assist with wiring and testing of control circuits
• Associates degree in technical field related to machine control preferred or equivalent experience
• Recent experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC’s preferred
• Possess an assertive, self-driving attitude
